Joshua Chilukuri

Hey there! My name is Joshua Chilukuri and I'm an incoming Angier B. Duke Scholar at Duke University, pursuing my interests in computer systems, AI, and public policy. Today, I'm most interested in multi-modal AI as it relates to improving human lives by improving safety and reducing accessibility barriers. My research spans augmented reality, 3D content generation, computer vision/perception, and AI ethics.

Trained using a high performance computing cluster, Indoor-RFDETR is a fine-tuned variant of the Roboflow Detection Transformer architecture for identifying key indoor objects (staircases, doorways, furniture, etc) to enhance blind navigation when implemented in smart glasses designs.
